Introduction-1-

Christina Aguilera was born in the Bronx, and her hometown now is
Pittsburg Pa. As a young child she love to sing, The Sound of Music
and Chrismas songs were her favorites. She had always dreamed of
becoming a star and singing on stage. That dream started to become
reality for her when she was twelve, and was selected to become a
regular cast member on the New Mickey Mouse Club.

She appeared on that show, as well as singing in concerts with the
Mouseketeers for two seasons, until she was Thirteen. She had done
a tour of Japan and a duet with Japaneese pop singer Keizo Nakanishi.
Sometime after cutting a demo called Just be free, there was a call that
went out for a vocalist with quite a range, to do a song for a new Disney
movie. Christina had secured the part, and was on her way into the studio.

After recording a stunning version of My Reflection for Mulan, Miss
Aguilera was offered a recording contract with RCA Records.
When work was completed on her debut CD, she took to the road,
with a long list of cities, and intersperced TV appeareces. She has
won many awards and has had top selling singles. Christina then went
back into the studio and embraced her Equadorian roots.

She remade some of her songs in Spanish and recorded some
new original Spanish language songs, and released them in a
CD called `Mi Reflejo` wich enjoyed much acclaim in the latin
community. While still on the road, she recorded an album full
of her favorite Christmas Standards, and recorded a network
TV special that aired before Christmas time.

She was quite busy, and all over the place for quite a while. But
where is she now? She is one person who deserves a bit of rest &
some degree of normalcy in her life. Roumor has it that she is
back in the studio and poised to come out with another album for
us. We can`t wait to hear it Christina. Good luck for your future
success, you have the staying power !

It is quite obvious that Miss Aguilera is the quintessential pop-diva
queen. She has a lot of competition out there these days, but as far
as vocal range, and stage pressence she is in a class by herself. If
you listen to some of the MP3's of her earlier performances in the
Mickey Mouse Club, you can hear the spectacular quality of her
voice, even at age thirteen! .......wow!
